LEWA as an important company in the District of Böblingen

On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, District Administrator Roland Bernhard and Mr. Sascha Messmer visited LEWA in Leonberg. As a district administrator, Mr. Bernhard's duties include regularly visiting companies located in the district. Thus, the highest municipal official wants to catch up on the current situation and the most important needs of the companies. It also gives him first-hand information about the current issues and challenges the companies are facing.

LEWA is an important medium-sized company in the district of Böblingen and employer for 600 people from the region. Due to his position in the district, Mr. Bernhard decided to pay LEWA a visit.

First, Mr. Peter Wagner (CEO) and Dr. Martin Fiedler (COO) welcomed the two guests. After a round of talks, Mr. Wagner and Dr. Fiedler presented the company during a factory tour. A special focus was placed on the large process pumps in Workshop 3 as well as on the new Workshops 5 and 6. Also, the training rooms and the showroom were visited.

LEWA is pleased about the District Administrator’s interest in the company: "As a result of the visit of District Administrator Mr. Roland Bernhard and Mr. Sascha Messmer, we feel appreciated from the district office as an important company in the region", said Wagner. "Due to the authentic interest in our work and the commendatory words of our guests, once more we feel confirmed in our strategy of investing in the Leonberg site. In addition, we had the opportunity to talk about topics that are important to LEWA in an open discussion."
